Close to the grain. Closer to the process.
Extraction and refining sit on the same site at both units, so crude oil never leaves the boundary before it is finished. Both units run on 1 MW of captive solar.

Refined Rice Bran Oil
Clear, pale, high smoke point, naturally rich in oryzanol. Two refineries, 200 TPD. Sold in bulk and under our own Tulsi and Sehat brands.
Lovibond 2R / 10Y
01 · Rice Bran
The papery layer removed when paddy becomes rice. Rich in oil, and perishable within hours of milling, which is why the plant has to sit inside the rice belt.
Feedstock · 14–18% oil
02 · Solvent Extraction
Bran is washed with food-grade hexane. The oil dissolves out, the solvent is recovered and reused, and the protein-bearing solid is left behind as de-oiled rice bran.
Three plants · 850 TPD
03 · Crude Rice Bran Oil
Dark, waxy and turbid, high in free fatty acids. This is the oil at its least valuable: unusable as food until every one of the next three operations has run.
Lovibond 50R / 80Y
04 · Degumming & Neutralisation
Gums and phospholipids are hydrated and separated; free fatty acid is drawn off as a saleable stream in its own right. The oil begins to clear.
Lovibond 30R / 60Y
05 · Bleaching & Winterisation
Colour bodies are adsorbed onto bleaching earth; the oil is then chilled so rice bran wax crystallises and can be filtered out and sold.
Lovibond 8R / 20Y
06 · Refined Rice Bran Oil
Clear, pale, high smoke point, naturally rich in oryzanol. Two refineries, 200 TPD. Sold in bulk and under our own Tulsi and Sehat brands.
Lovibond 2R / 10Y
